Sheconomy, operated by MJC Creation & Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd, respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

When you contact us or apply to join Sheconomy — through WhatsApp, an application form, or the Circle Member Portal — we may collect:

• Name and phone number
• Business name and category (for members, vendors and partners)
• Email address, where provided
• Any other information you choose to share with us in your message

2. How We Collect It

Personal data is collected directly from you when you:

• Message us via WhatsApp (e.g. to join Sheconomy, apply for Co-op membership, or apply as a Pop-Up Market vendor)
• Register as a Sheconomy Circle member and log in to the Member Portal
• Complete an application or enquiry form linked from this website

3. Why We Collect It

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to your enquiries and process your applications
• Manage Circle, Co-op, Academy and Trade membership or participation
• Share relevant updates about Sheconomy programmes and events
• Operate the Circle Member Directory, where applicable

4. Where It Is Stored

Personal data collected through this website is stored in Google Sheets accessed only by the Sheconomy team, and in WhatsApp Business conversations. We take reasonable steps to keep this information secure, but no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

5. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties, except:

• Where necessary to operate a programme you have joined (e.g. connecting a Pop-Up Market vendor with the event venue)
• Where required by Malaysian law or requested by a regulatory authority

6. Circle Member Directory

If you join Sheconomy Circle and use the Member Portal, your name, business name, category and one-line introduction may be visible to other logged-in Circle members. Your phone number and email are never shown to other members. You can update or ask us to remove your directory information at any time.

7. How Long We Keep It

We keep your personal data for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above, or as required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations.

8. Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data held by us, and to withdraw consent for us to contact you. To exercise these rights, message us on WhatsApp or email us — details below.

9. Consent

By messaging us, submitting a form, or registering for Sheconomy Circle, you consent to the collection, use and storage of your personal data as described in this policy.
